In the 21st century, an era of rapid technological development, all kinds of media are influencing people, the main reason I chose digital media is that this major can widen my vision in communication science and improve my research ability.
Photography is one of my hobbies that I am very interested in during my time outside of class. I think the power of images is unimaginable and I would like to call it a second language. Every photograph carries a special meaning. A tree, a person, a beach at sunset, or a field with the moon rising can all be captured by the lens. In this information time, efficiency has become the deciding factor in everything. Everyone seems to be in a hurry and the beauty of the world seems to have been forgotten. Finding some beautiful moments seems to have gradually become the meaning of photography, and the charm is the point of pressing the shutter can turn the moment into eternity.
Meanwhile, as an avid pet lover, cats are an indispensable part of my life. This is my cat, her name is May. Although there are some challenges in training pets and it is sometimes difficult to balance the demands of personal life and the responsibilities of taking care of a cat, the unconditional love of a pet seems to make it all worth it.
In addition to these two things, I also relax in my free time by travelling, watching movies, playing video games and working out at the gym – these ways allow me to release a lot of stress during my studies, while also distracting me from being terribly homesick.
