Hi everyone, my name is Wei Wei. This year, I’m 20 years old and from Malaysia. I’m currently studying digital media production pathway.
I’m a dog lover. I had two dogs back in my country; one is a golden retriever, and another one is a pug. Both of them meant a lot to me just like my family.
Film photography is one of my favourite new hobbies. I hesitate to use the word “hobby” because claiming a hobby implies you’re only an amateur or novice at it. In its most traditional form, film photography consists of taking pictures on a camera by exposing frames on a film roll. The nostalgia of disposable cameras lies in the unique charm and imperfections that film can offer. Unlike digital photography, which allows for instant reviewing and editing of photos, film photography requires a certain level of patience and trust in the process. I love taking pictures of stunning scenery and portraits. I also enjoy editing videos.
