a bit about me ☽ ♏︎

Hey everyone! I’m Jay Mann. A 19-year-old Scorpio ♏︎ born in Coventry, United Kingdom but raised in Leicestershire, United Kingdom. I am a proud Sikh ☬ and the baby of the family 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦. I have a huge interest in all things pop-culture and fashion 👩🏼‍🎤.

I work in the fashion industry at a luxury retail store, Flannels, alongside studying BA Digital Media, PR and Advertising 🤓. I absolutely love where I work as it gives me the opportunities to see what is currently in trend within the industry (and comes along with a gorgeous staff discount🙈)!

I love reading my monthly Vogue & GQ to keep me up to speed on what’s going on within the fashion world itself, as well as being impartial to a bit of Instagram and X for the latest celeb gossip 🤭 I also really enjoy taking photos and videos of absolutely everything as its better to have more memories than less!

I would definitely admire that my biggest pastimes would be indulging in TikTok, a good old EastEnders catchup or a browse across Netflix, Disney+ or Prime. I’m a huge Disney fanatic too, but I guess that means I like most things as Disney now owns almost every movie company like Marvel and Fox. That’s not a lie though! I’ve seen every Marvel movie, and allllllmost every Disney movie (there’s so much to get through!). Being completely honest, I don’t see the point of watching every Marvel show as quite a few are a bit mediocre, if that, or have no correlation to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) timeline. But oh well, that’s nerd talk 🤓

Ask me any question about EastEnders and I’ll know the answer, ask me anything about fashion and I’ll give you my opinion 😅.

  1. Hi Jay!! I have also watched all of the Marvel movies (in timeline order obviously)!! What’s your favourite film? My favourite are the Spiderman films – that was the first Marvel movie I had ever watched when I was a toddler, only really watched it because of my older brother haha but I’ve been a fan since. And yes totally agree with how a few of the films aren’t relevent to the timeline whatsoever – feels like Marvel are just dishing out films and new superheroes for the sake of making more money, rather than for the MCU plot. Still a huge Marvel fan nonetheless
