Hello Party People!🕺🏻

Hi Everyone, I’m Jana. I was Born and raised in Bern, Switzerland🇨🇭 and moved to London in 2021. Last year I was studying Illustration at Westminster but decided to switch my course to Digital Media. As you can probably already think to yourself from this, I’m a very creative person. Since a young age, I’ve always been involved in the creative world whether this was drawing, painting, photography, music or videography and to this day I still am. Next to university, I work part-time as a Graphic Designer for a Sports Company and am a multimedia freelance. I mostly take pictures around the music world but I also do a lot of other mainly digital projects.

A little story about how I got into Music Photography

I always loved music and moving to London was a proper game-changer. I quickly realized that there were concerts everywhere and bought tickets to see everyone I knew. A silly mistake on my side because as cheap as one ticket looks they do add up and it quickly turned into a way too expensive hobby. But luckily this was around the time when I started getting very interested in photography shooting with diverse music artists and meeting lots of people in the industry. If you’re unfamiliar with the music industry let me tell you a secret. It is incredibly easy to get some free tickets to any concert in return for some photos. So this is how my photography journey started. Unfortunately, after countless concerts and nights spent editing, I lost interest and didn’t really enjoy taking pictures at concerts as much anymore so now I’m doing different things, shooting in studios, creating music covers, filming DJ sets etc. 🙂

Next to music I really enjoy fashion, interior design, coffee, parks, plants, travelling and I always appreciate a good night out! (My secret talent is finding free or guest-listed events) Pictures say more than a thousand words so here’s a little bit about me! <3
