Hi! everyone, my name is Zishan Zhang, Originally from China and living in Guangzhou, this is my first year living in London, and the three months I’ve spent here have given me a better understanding of the city.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends and do sports like badminton or swimming.
I also have a great passion for travelling, Every trip for me is not only about exploring new places, but also discovering a new me. From ancient towns in China to tropical islands, I love to experience the different cultures and customs of each place. The landscapes and people on my travels are the most authentic moments on my lens, and I often record those moments that make my heart flutter through my photos and compile them into a photobook when I return home. My photographic material has become richer as a result!
Travelling has taught me a lot. It has taught me how to deal with different people and how to keep an open and tolerant mind in unfamiliar environments. I have also learnt to enjoy my time travelling alone, and to know myself more clearly in each departure and arrival. I hope to have more opportunities to explore every corner of this world in the future, and record the story of each journey with my camera.
Now, I’m studying Digital media PR and advertising. I chose this major because I’m passionate about creative expression and communication skills. Advertising is not only about information delivery, but also the art of moving people’s hearts through vision and language. At the same time, with the development of digitalisation, the communication methods of advertising are become more and more diversified, and I hope to acquire this knowledge and apply it in my future practical work.
