Introducing the Essex girl (yes.. Holly)

Hi, all! If you don’t already know me, my name is Holly, I’m 19, and I’m from Rayleigh, which is a small town in Essex. Essex is east of London, and is somewhat coastal. It’s quite a historic town, and dates back to the 1800s, as far as I’m aware, it could probably date back further (and most likely does). We actually have our own museum, so I’ll guess it does. I love cats, I’m dating someone who lives in Michigan, and I work as a Front of House (and soon to be barista) at a ‘semi high end’ coffee shop in a furniture shop! (Dansk.)

I absolutely love all criminal shows, and have grown up watching them, so yeah!

I am an avid Formula 1 fan, and I also love Criminal Minds (the TV show). My current favourite F1 drivers are Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris (though, of course, I do love Lewis Hamilton as well). I also support Manchester United, though this season is making me question my life choice in doing so.

I managed to go see Tom Holland in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, and also stumbled across the House of the Dragon premiere, and saw Matt Smith and RuPaul. 🙂

I love to write poetry, I’ll show my two favourite poems below. In fairness, there isn’t really much to know about me. I love reading too, I’m a sucker for romance and a good mystery/thriller every once in a while, but that’s about it. I love music, I listen to club classics from the 90s and 2000s, and I listen to a lot of modern pop too. I don’t like rap, not my thing. I’ll link my profile if you want to see my 50+ playlists.. 🙂

In the future, I want to either be a Public Relations Officer/Press Officer for a Formula 1 team or driver, or even work for MI6, MI5 or even the FBI if I fancy it and am able to!

I look forward to talking with you all more over the coming semester. If you ever see me rush out of class, it’s because my train is normally at 50 minutes past the hour, and as the train to Liverpool Street takes 38 minutes or so, I only have about 10 minutes leeway. I like to be home on time so my mum can pick me up on her way home. :’)
