Culture Industry in HERMES
Since its establishment in 1837,Hermes has always adhered to the brand’s handicraft model and humanistic values, and pursued creative freedom and exquisiteness. Hermes has a very clear position-giving up 80%of the mass customer base and focusing on the 20%of the cutting edge customers. It is a rare brand that can adhere to its own business principles.
Hermes has entered only a few of the existing stores in China. The stores set up by Hermes are more appropriate than for sales as to show the brand image and the contact stations of the brand’s old member customers. All Hermes stores will always set up a separate area for the harnesses it produces to display so show the inheritances of the brand.
Also culture industry can be divided into three main aspects. The first one is industries that produce and sell products presented in relatively independent physical forms (such as the production of books and, newspapers, television and films). The second one is cultural service industry that emerges in the form of labor (such as drama and dance performances). The last one is industry that provide cultural added value to other commodities and industries ( such as decoration, image design and cultural tourism).
