Hi! I’m Kiernan, 19, a second-year Digital Media and Communication student from Northeast China.
I chose media because I’ve long been interested in film and the media industry. Studying in Beijing under experienced traditional media teachers inspired me, and now, in London, I have access to a more diverse range of perspectives, which enables me to continue my studies in media and its development. Sometimes I post on social media — not many see it, but it helps me express how I view the world.
Football is my biggest passion. I support Leicester City and was lucky to see Jamie Vardy’s last home match at King Power Stadium. Besides football, I’m also an amateur rock music fan. My favourite band is Blur, and my favourite album of theirs is The Great Escape.
Sometimes I also post content on social media. Although not many people see it, for me, it is still a way of expressing myself and reflecting on how I perceive the world.
