In these day, our daily life is surrounding with media in every tiny corner. They can be visualised as TV programme, These days, media saturates every aspect of our lives, delivering information through television, online videos, radio, podcasts, newspapers, and our phones. While it seems that we have full freedom in choosing the information we receive, this process is shaped by complex political and economic interests. The media landscape is designed less to inform us and more to serve these powerful interests, often making the audience as a product within this system.

Advertising

Mass media require a huge amount of money to run. Normally, the profit gathered from the audience was not enough to cover it. It requires extra income to fill the gap. Advertising in the program is one of the  effective solutions. Mass media deliver a consistent number of views, ensuring the product in the advertisement is exposed to a certain level of exposure.

Political influence

Political normally use mass media as a tool to propagate their ideology and political vision. For example, politicians often portray a common enemy to the people, which can strongly support their policies and unite people, even though they disagree strongly with each other. The mass media will be asked to act as propaganda to spread information about this virtual enemy.
