Burning Boning

What kind of imagery strikes you —-

Coincidentally, the last time I saw something that touched me, it was a couple of Chinese bloggers who were burning a piano. As if that’s not special, many artists have played on burning pianos too, it’s aesthetically pleasing. But they said the melody doesn’t have to be learnt, she has her own melody. We only live once, life doesn’t have to follow a melody, maybe we can play our own song. This video is about breaking free. I also hope to keep breaking myself and moving forward.

In China, a child’s name often has a source, which contains the blessing and love of the parents for the child, they hope that I will not pursue fame and fortune too much, and spend my life in peace and tranquility. But quite the contrary, I feel like I have a torch in my heart. I like the pronunciation of my name in English because it is similar to burning. Burn up, even if it burns myself, so that the world can see a little light.

Previously produced interview video

I used to dream of being a host, an announcer. A child’s dream is always simple when she’s young, she thinks that if she sits inside the TV, she’ll become a shining adult. But then she grew up and realised that there was so much more in the world than happiness for people to know. She now wants to be a journalist. I know it’s actually a heavy responsibility, but I hope I can do a little bit, as much as I can, to help more people who need to be seen, to bring light to corners where the sun doesn’t shine.

I aspire to burn the piano, I want to break myself, I want to be a journalist, who can tell a good story!
